With a collective intention towards cultivating the restoration of the commons, I am also currently engaged with a garden project in which families in my community are growing vegetables together.Bonnie Jo Radasch, Michele Steckler, and I offer an attunement circle on the last Sunday of each month for the CIYO community. Şerife Füsun Temel Ömür

Coach & Facilitator
Turkey

My life, which began in Ankara, continues in Istanbul, where I moved to become a student of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University. In my 34-year corporate career, I worked in various roles and positions in different fields such as Strategic Planning, Finance, and Human Resources. The focus of this period of development was to support my corporate career. In this context, I completed the MIS postgraduate program at Marmara University and the "Business Strategy" program at Columbia Business School. In my corporate career, my focus was on "Change Management" and "The Role of Women in the Workplace."
In 2011, I encountered the "CIYO - Coming into Your Own" Program, which introduced me for the first time to the importance of understanding the depths of oneself, and it led me to place personal development programs in my focus. I crossed paths with practices such as Nonviolent Communication, Shadow Work, and MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction).
I deepened my personal development journey with what the accelerating change and transformation offered worldwide. I had the opportunity to enjoy my inner journey even more with practices such as ancient Native American teachings, Kundalini Yoga, and many personal development programs. In recent years, I started the Sociology undergraduate program at Anadolu University AÖF to better understand social developments and the sources of social transformation, which intrigued and challenged me.
Currently, in addition to serving on the boards of companies, I also engage in mentoring and active committee memberships in civil initiatives aimed at empowering women in the workplace, such as YenidenBiz and the Women on Boards Association. Since retiring from my corporate career in 2018, I have been one of the leaders of the CIYO program, which nourishes my intention to support women.
In 2022, I discovered the healing power of conscious breathing through my experiences. I continue to support myself and those who wish to explore conscious breathing in the path of Breath Coaching.
With the belief that diversity is richness, I continue my journey in the balance of giving and receiving by adding innovations to my pursuits that support my life purpose. My exploration and learning journey, which I eagerly try to nourish, is a very enjoyable and beautiful process for me.
